Inspire Develop Model Citizenship Growth
5. Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership
It is very important for us as teachers to be able to
reflect on our technological use. We have a lot at stake when we teach
and we want to make sure the decisions we do make are important. I think
that all decisions need thought and reflection behind them and with
teachers and technology we are looking at a new idea. With our newer
teachers that may have more technological understanding not getting jobs
in this market, it becomes important for those with technological
influence to spread the idea around the school to all their peers, in
hopes that their peers will not only try it out but make an effort to
get to know and get education on its use.
Ineffective Education (5d)
A reflection on a previous lesson that I struggled with and how I could improve it. Showing a great level of detail on why it didn't work and what I could do to not only improve it but why that improvement should be successful.

Classroom Thought Journal (5a, b, c, d)
A twenty page journal about my thoughts through my readings about education. I am very proud of and have referred back to this thought journal more than anything. I have grown fond of 'at the moment reflection' and then reflecting on that reflection later. I think it is a valuable tool and in this age of fast and easy reflection is commonly missed.
